Why holder spread matters

2 min read
In short

If a few wallets hold most of a coin, any one of them can crash the price by selling. A coin held by many wallets in small amounts is harder to dump on.

Read the holder list

The coin page lists the top holders and marks the creator. Look at how much the top 10 hold together.

The curve and the pool

Coins held by the bonding curve or the locked pool aren't a person. They're the market itself.

Watch it change

Holder spread changes fast on new coins. Check again before a big buy.

FAQ

What share is too much for one wallet?

There's no fixed rule, but one wallet holding a large share of the supply is a reason to be careful.
